Governor skips 'his' prayer breakfast

: "Gov. Rod Blagojevich was the first no-show in the 42-year history of the annual Illinois Governor's Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday.
More than 500 guests, including state lawmakers, business leaders and community members, paid $15 apiece to attend the event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
'It's in honor of the governor. And if the governor isn't there, then what are we doing?' asked Richard Stratton, who has served on the breakfast's planning committee for the past 40 years"

-- If anyone needs prayer right now, it's him... Then again it was in Springfield but at least he wasn't late.
