From the Leader Judge to decide fate of sealed docs, conservatives brace for worst: "But Ryan's base of conservatives and traditional family values activists are bracing for what may become public today about their candidate. Ryan has called together conservative leaders on several occasions, seeking their support.
Would pro-family and religious leaders support or abandon Ryan if what is revealed is controversial?
'Well, I suppose it depends upon what he admits he did and how dumb it was,' Peter LaBarbera, a pro-family activist said today. 'A lot of people do dumb things, and he needs to say these are the mistakes of my youth and things are different now.' "
-- Ryans base of conservatives and traditional family values activists? It's my opinion some of these guys are not real happy with him being the nominee and would love it if someone took his place. The hard right is not the key to wining this election, not by a long shot.
