From Chicagobusiness.com:
"The governor's reluctance to replace members of the scandal-ridden Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board or disband it altogether leaves more than $1.25 billion of hospital construction projects and health care transactions in limbo.
More than 80 projects and business deals, ranging from the sale of nursing homes and surgery centers to complex hospital renovation, cannot proceed until Gov. Rod Blagojevich appoints new members to the board or seeks the Illinois General Assembly's approval to do away with it."

-- With that 1.25 Billion with a B in real economic growth sitting on the table. Real construction jobs, real health care jobs, real service jobs. Why aren't the trade unions (construction primarily) getting ticked off about this, it's their members who are suffering for the governor's incompetence.

Real incompetence has real impacts and real victims.
