The Sun-Times has some labor news McCormick chief rips union tactics:
"The threat of a strike might not seem like a big deal when it's coming from nine union workers.
But it was enough to force McCormick Place managers to their knees recently.
Fearing a walkout by nine Teamster dock workers would sideline hundreds of sympathetic tradesmen, snowballing into the cancellation of one of McCormick Place's biggest and most lucrative events, the managers agreed to just about every union demand."
