The hits keep coming.
The governor's office confirmed that it received a subpoena seeking Department of Corrections hiring records for Blagojevich's first 34 months in office and the final nine months of former Gov. George Ryan's administration.

So one of two things is happening here kids, either they are really finding stuff within the Blagojevich administration or they are really fishing. I guess we will find out soon enough.
As the Sun Times points out the gov signed an executive order in January 2003 setting up a state hiring freeze and then hiring needed to be approved by Blagojevich's office. So I suspect that is what they are now looking at hard.
