Well Tom is circulating...

Tom Weisner (or I should say folks on his behalf) are circulating petitions and I drove by his campaign office, so I would guess he is in.

Maybe he's doing like Irvin and is doing it to see if people want him in the race.

Then again this email is circulating:

Dear Friend,

I wanted to take a moment to wish you Happy Thanksgiving, and to let you know how much I appreciate your help with my re-election campaign. I hope you enjoy this time to spend with family and friends.

I am looking forward to another four years of serving our community as your Mayor. While the election is still a few months away, there is a lot of work to do right now. The petition deadline is upon us, and my plan is to exceed to maximum number of signatures to get on the ballot.

This Saturday, November 29, I am asking everyone who has ever expressed a desire to help out with my campaign, to join our petition effort. If each volunteer collects 30-45 signatures over this coming weekend, we will reach our goal.

Please check in at my campaign office, located at 237 E. Indian Trail Road, this Saturday at 10:00 A.M.; and this Sunday at 12:00 P.M.

Thank you for your participation in this important project. Someone from my campaign office will be calling you soon to talk about how you can help more. Also, you can call my campaign office at (630) 264-8150, or just stop by between 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to pick up more petition sheets, or drop off completed ones. Our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Sincerely,
Tom Weisner
Mayor of Aurora
