Aurora is taking a slower approach to video gambling. According to Carie Anne Ergo, assistant chief of staff for Mayor Tom Weisner, the city has been talking with local businesses to find out their thoughts.
So let me get this straight, we have a casino in town and we are going to perhaps take a pass on video gaming because... some local businesses might object?
At the end of the day, I don't see how in the heck we can take a pass on video gaming in town (actually thanks to the proximity of some bars to the casino and the other big bar in town having OTB a lot of bars will not be able to play).
However I think the reason a bunch of government entities are taking a pass is indicative of how little the local cut is...
