More on Video Poker...

Rich mentioned the governor did an AV related to video poker and the number of signatures needed to get a ban on the ballot, the Bill was SB1595

Well I found it

Governor Amendatory Veto Message
Recommends that the Video Gaming Act be amended to change the signature requirement for referendums to prohibit video gaming within a municipality or county from 25% of the legal voters of that municipality or county to 11% of the total ballots cast of the registered voters of the municipality, township, or county in the last regular election conducted in the municipality, township, or county.

Makes the threshold very doable to lots of locations now. Also adds township as an entity that can do the referendum. It also gives him some play in terms to saying he tried to make it easier for people to opt out....
