No Election Commission Referendum This Year...

Because the city filed it wrong, and not just a little wrong, really wrong. Didn't file it with all the right entities, didn't do a petition and more....

The thing that makes this sad is that they did one of these 10 years ago and filed it correctly, someone didn't bother to check what they did 10 years ago.

You might think this was done intentionally to keep Republican turnout down with the tight congressional race we have going on out here. However considering the cities legal batting average I don't think that is the case....

David Pierce did the referendum and it failed miserably. Wasn't Weisner working under him during that time? Don't you think he would have remembered something like that? I'm happy it happened really because I think the Election Commission should stay.
