That's the question in our Kane County primary. Keep in mind we do not have a medical examiner system so the coroner does not perform autopsies.
You would think the MD would be a slam dunk with the voters but we have had at least one MD run in the past and not win.
The other thing is like a lot of other stuff in the primary out here it is also a bit of a faction fight, but for what it is worth when I did my drive yesterday a decent number of sign locations would have all the signs of one faction but then have a different coroner sign.
