The Special Election To Replace Rod Blagojevich...

What you don't remember it either?

Well ABC does, at the end of their story about how much it was going to cost to do a special for JJJ Congressional Seat was this little chestnut...

Holding a statewide special election to replace governor Rod Blagojevich cost the state between $90 million and $100 million, according to estimates, the state elections board said.

Dear ABC news, like many other states in the union, we have an office of Lt. Governor for just such situations and he was able to do what needed to be done.  No special election needed....
